Blackfoot and Friends pt3 - GEORGE!!!

this will be an ongoing communique of the various homeless denizens I encounter in Honolulu.

Donna Holleback (pronounced like Gwen Stefani's popular ditty) is downright certifiable, and apparently a longtime resident of downtown Waikiki. Shortly after I met her the first time, I explained what happened, and was told "Oh yeah, that's Donna. She comes around a lot."

Blackfoot and Friends pt2 - Fuck you, motherfucker!

this will be an ongoing communique of the various homeless denizens I encounter in Honolulu.

The interesting part of this story is that it happened not at 4am, but rather in the middle of the morning, near 10am - long after the usual riffraff of benchjockeys have slinked into wherever they go. (As it turns out, most of them go to the beach.)

Blackfoot and Friends, pt1 - Are YOU an American?
Every city has its bums - it's a shameful part of the economic system we reside in, but an unfortunate truth that we just have to accept anyway. The haves and the have nots, and the have not so bads that i'm sleeping in a park underneath a garbage bag. Waikiki, though, seems an island mecca for them.

Blackfoot and Friends, prologue

These logs will require a small amount of backstory, so let me get the banalities out quick. First off, my car is currently in Ocala, being driven by my stepfather. Since his normal vehicle is a Ford F250 and gas is over $4/gal, I figured I'd be a CHAMP and let him use my car. That, and the cost of shipping it to Honolulu was almost $2000, definitely not worth it.

HEY GUESS WHAT MORE SHIT ABOUT VIDEO GAMES

So I've been on an RPG kick, hammering through all my GBA ones. Sword Of Mana, FF1,2, and 6 all complete. Finishing up FF4 now.

Soon, I'll pick up The World Ends With You, followed by FFTA2 when it's released on June 24th. Looks like I have a lot of NERDING IT UP to do!

Pirates v. Ninjas?!

I'm SO GODDAMN SICK of this pirates vs. ninjas crap, with arguments on who would win. It's so fucking stupid. Isn't it obvious who would win? PIRATES DUH. Ninjas are from Japan, and everyone knows that pirates fight on ships. So when a pirate ship comes in, how will the ninjas get there? The Japanese can't swim, the only thing they're good at is drawing girls with freakishly big eyes (pictured). Thank you.

LAIR

Lair for PS3 is an umplayable mess. Although with an awesome premise (DRAGONRIDING) and a decent story, as well as amazing graphics, the SixAxis controls are just awful.

nVidia 8800 GTS

At 1600x1200 128.7 FPS with 4x antialiasing, HDR lighting, and triliniar whatever, I can totally tell Alyx thinks I'm hot.

By the way, that's an in-game screenshot. Mmm, delicious water effects...
