Erik Loño is originally from Germany and is currently based in Elk Ridge, Utah. He creates oil paintings focused on form and color, often depicting traditional agricultural subjects such as fields, animals, farm machinery, and barns. His work explores the aesthetic and spiritual significance of rural life, including themes of work, seasons, and sacrifice. When he’s not painting, you can find him playing tennis or learning the art of typography and designing his own fonts.
