Collection: Valerie Hollstein

Valerie Hollstein grew up in Provence in the south of France in a family that deeply valued art and is now based in Holladay, Utah. She is best known for her vitreous glass paintings, a distinctive process in which she assembles shards of colored glass into richly layered compositions. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings, her work often reflects the cultural and natural elements of the Wasatch Mountains. Outside of her studio practice, she has a love for travel and speaks several languages, including French, Spanish, and some Russian.
