Collection: James Rees

James Rees is originally from Provo, Utah and is currently based in Aruba. He creates contemporary monotype prints rooted in intuitive abstraction, mixed media, and a process of exploration and discovery. His work examines connection, relationships, and the things we carry with us, often using recurring imagery like chairs to explore these ideas. When he’s not creating, you can find him competing in endurance mountain bike races.
