Shelly Coleman is originally from Highland, Utah and is currently based in Bountiful, Utah. She creates landscape oil paintings focused on water, with work that reflects on memory, fleeting moments, and life’s journey. Often using travel imagery as a metaphor for meaningful experiences. Inspired by her children’s imagination, her dreamlike “Foggy Window” paintings evoke nostalgia, childhood freedom, and the beauty of passing moments. When she’s not painting, she enjoys sunrise paddle boarding and hopes to explore every lake and reservoir in Utah.
