Sarah Wingegar is originally from Springville, Utah and is currently based in American Fork, Utah. She is a printmaker specializing in relief printing, carving designs into wooden blocks and creating editions from the carved surface while also celebrating the beauty of the block itself as a finished piece. Her work is inspired by the complexity of family life, capturing the moments of joy, frustration, triumph, and exhaustion that come with relationships, marriage, and motherhood. When she’s not in the studio, you can find her on the soccer field. Playing, coaching her kids, and staying competitive enough to keep beating her husband in 1v1s.
