Tyler Tāne Huntzinger grew up moving across the country, living in places like Texas, Pennsylvania, Utah, Hawaii, and Arizona, an experience that shaped his deep appreciation for varied landscapes. Now based in Farmington, Utah, he creates contemporary landscape and animal paintings that blend realism with abstraction, often using materials like asphalt and layered paints to build rich texture. His work is inspired by quiet moments in nature and explores themes of resilience, hope, and beauty in imperfection. Outside the studio, he tends to an ever-growing collection of plants, including hundreds of varieties of bearded iris.
