Steven Sheffield is originally from Salt Lake City and is currently based in Sugar House, Utah. He works across water-based media, creating abstract and stylized landscapes inspired by the natural world and the endless possibilities found in everyday surroundings. His recent work draws from the moody layers of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the dramatic rock formations of Southern Utah at sunrise. When he’s not painting, you can find him collecting hand-painted greeting cards and unique boxes to keep them in.
