Collection: Barbara Ward

Barbara Ward is originally from Raymond, Alberta, Canada and is currently based in Payson, Utah. She creates oil paintings, often working plein air and on location, inspired by rural landscapes, agricultural life, and the ordinary places that become extraordinary when touched by light. Drawing from her upbringing in Canada and connection to farm life, her work celebrates the beauty, color, and stories found in landscapes that are slowly disappearing. When she’s not in the studio, you can find her with her horses. A lifelong passion that has included training for endurance riding and even completing a 250-mile ride through the Grand Canyon on her Arabian horse, Zeus.
