I chose an evergreen to symbolize what women hold. Evergreens symbolize endurance, fertility, renewal, protection, and wisdom. Women hold life. We hold the past and the future. We hold connections and traditions. As a mother of two daughters, I held them through infancy, toddlerhood, and childhood. Now I hold them in a hug. As I help them grow their wings and fly away. I will always hold a place for them to come back to.
